Hermetic and Flexible Sealing for Construction, Automotive and Industrial Use
Preformed butyl cord is an elastoplastic sealant made primarily from butyl rubber and polyisobutylene. It is supplied in rolls or strips, ready for application without the need for special tools. This material bonds well to metals, glass, wood, plastic, and more, providing an effective seal against moisture, air, and dust.
COMPOSITION
Soporte (A): Siliconized paper film
Liner (C): Butyl extruded strip

Permanent elasticity: Maintains its flexibility over time, adapting to movements and vibrations without losing sealing capacity.
