The range of polyester (PET) adhesive tapes we offer is highly technical. The PET backing, with its thin thickness, offers excellent resistance even at high temperatures. It is available with silicone, acrylic, and rubber adhesives.
It has excellent resistance to solvents and aging, as well as good electrical insulation values.
Single-sided PET adhesive solutions are widely used in industry for highly technical applications.
Among the most common uses, the following stand out:
- PAINTING
Use for epoxy powder coatings and masking in high-temperature painting jobs. PET with silicone adhesive resists up to 240ºC, leaving no adhesive residue when the tape is removed.
- MANIPULATION
Use in industrial splicing; the thin thickness prevents machine jams. Using aluminum-coated PET backing allows splice detection by photoelectric cell.
- AUTOMOBILE AND TRANSPORT VEHICLES
Use for high-temperature wire covering.
- ELECTRICAL
Use for the protection of electronic products: coil wrapping, insulation between layers of electric motors and transformers, anchoring, fastening, harnessing, etc..
