Application conditions for rough paper tape
To ensure optimal tape performance:
- Apply the tape to clean, dry surfaces free of dust, grease or oils.
- Press evenly during application to promote full contact of the adhesive with the surface.
- Avoid application on wet or contaminated surfaces.
- Remove the tape following the usage recommendations to obtain a clean finish and minimise the occurrence of residue
- Store the product in its original packaging, protected from humidity, direct sunlight and temperatures between 20 ºC and 30 ºC.
Success story of rough paper tape
Carlos contacted the ATyT team because he needed a masking solution that would properly adapt to rough surfaces during painting and façade refurbishment work. Until then they had been using conventional tapes which, when applied to renders, exposed concrete and other textured materials, lost adhesion in certain areas, allowing paint to bleed through and requiring numerous touch-ups.
